Meet Dr. RawnsleyJeffrey Rawnsley M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Rawnsley is one of the leading surgeons in the field of microsurgical hair transplantation to restore hair loss. He is based at the UCLA Medical Center, home of the most advanced state of the art technology treating the issue.
Dr Rawnsley's background as Board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and training in aesthetic surgery and microsurgery guides his creation of a naturally-appearing hairline with flawless, undetectable results that will last a lifetime. He is aware that simply the addition of hair is not the issue, rather the artistic redistribution of hair from abundant, genetically stable areas at the back of the scalp to more depleted spots that are more visually noticeable is of upmost importance. Therefore design, detail and density are his main objectives with every patient.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Rawnsley actively serves as a clinical associate professor at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. He consults regularly with other facial plastic surgeons from around the world, who seek his expertise on a range of medical and patient management issues.
He earned his doctorate in medicine, as well as a Masters Degree in Health Policy, from the University of California, San Francisco. He then completed his residency at UCLA Medical Center, where he also performed specialty training and a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and Microsurgery.
The New York Times, Los Angeles Daily News, KNBC-TV, KABC-TV, Dateline NBC and Reuters Broadcast News have all featured Dr. Rawnsley's pioneering work.
Dr. Rawnsley is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
